The NH Tenerife hotel will host the ‘GastroHotel Weeks’ initiative starting this Saturday.
After a week at the Hotel AC Tenerife, this initiative moves to the El Ático restaurant of the NH Tenerife hotel, where it will remain until October 14.
The ‘GastroHotel Weeks’ initiative, promoted by the Santa Cruz City Council, through the Development Society, will continue from this Saturday, October 7, at the El Ático restaurant of the NH Tenerife. This has been communicated by the CEO of the capital entity, Carmen Pérez, who explained that “on this occasion you can taste the gastronomic proposal devised by the chef Víctor Suárez with the gastronomic team of the establishment and consisting of potato cause of Anaga with local cured fish tartare”.
In this way, Perez reported that “this dish can be tasted from 7 to 14 October from 17:00 to 21:30 hours and whose price will be 12 euros and includes 2 glasses of wine” and added that “those interested in enjoying this proposal should make a reservation by calling 603 85 46 29”.
Carmen Perez also stressed that “this initiative is being a success and an attraction for citizens, proof of this is that during the third of the sessions, which concludes tomorrow Saturday at the restaurant La Azotea del 31 of the Hotel AC Tenerife and consisting of the proposal devised by Omar Bedia with the gastronomic team of the establishment called carpaccio of old with dry sea gazpacho, more than thirty customers have tried this dish”.
In this sense, Perez recalled that “the initiative ‘GastroHotel Weeks’, which has already visited three catering establishments of three hotels in the capital and will tour a total of ten, aims to promote the cuisine of the hotel establishments and will continue until November” and added that “it consists of offering a menu, dish or tapa devised by the resident chef of the hotel with a chef of regional prestige, for a week, at an affordable price and that have been prepared with products of Anaga, kilometer 0 or Canary products, so it is a very new initiative.
“In this action, which is configured as a strategy to promote hotel gastronomy, the Hotel Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey, Silken Atlántida, AC Tenerife, NH Tenerife, Hotel Escuela Santa Cruz, Occidental Contemporáneo, Taburiente, Hotel Adonis, Hotel Colón Rambla and the Urban Anaga are taking part” explained Pérez, who added that “the proposals are designed by 10 chefs with Michelin Stars or Repsol Suns, including Erlantz Gorostiza, Seve Díaz, Omar Bedia, Víctor Suárez, Víctor Planas, Adrián Bosh, Alberto González Margallo, Diana Marcelino, Pedro Nel and Gonzalo Tamames”.
Likewise, from October 14 to 21, this initiative will be at the Hotel Escuela, at the Mirador de Santa Cruz, with Víctor Planas, while at the Macusamba restaurant, at the Occidental Contemporáneo hotel, it will be held from October 21 to 28 with the proposal designed by Adrián Bosh. From October 28 to November 4, Alberto González Margallo will participate in Cayote, at the Hotel Taburiente, while the Niokobok restaurant, at the Hotel Adonis Plaza, will host this initiative from November 4 to 11, with the participation of Diana Marcelino.
From November 11 to 18, the Jarana restaurant at the Hotel Colón Rambla will dispense its proposal designed by Pedro Nel, while the Kiki restaurant, located at the Hotel Urban Anaga, will host the event from November 18 to 25, with the participation of Gonzalo Tamames.
