Santa Cruz will promote the capital’s gastronomy this Monday in Madrid Fusión

The capital of Tenerife attends this important event again to promote gastronomy through the “Degusta Santa Cruz” Product Club.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife returns to Madrid Fusión for the second consecutive year to promote its gastronomic wealth. This was announced by the mayor of Santa Cruz, José Manuel Bermúdez, who explained that “after the success of the previous edition, the capital of Tenerife will be present for another year at this important gastronomic event that will take place in Madrid starting this Monday. ”.

In this sense, Bermúdez has pointed out that “this is one of the numerous actions that we carry out in the capital to promote the restaurant sector and where we will value the gastronomic fabric of the city”, and added that “this action is carried out through our Product Club ‘Degusta Santa Cruz, Anaga Smart Destination’, in collaboration with Turismo de Tenerife, and responds to the positioning strategy as a reference gastronomic destination, where quality, creativity and local products are protagonists.”

For her part, the CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, highlighted that “in this edition of Madrid Fusión, which will take place from January 27 to 29 in the capital of Spain, Santa Cruz is coming with a special program of activities and in which renowned local gastronomy professionals will highlight the products of Anaga and the municipality,” and added that “the Santa Cruz activities will take place on Monday, January 27 at the Tenerife Tourism stand, where the “Flavors from Santa Cruz and Anaga will be the common thread of preparations that combine tradition, sustainability and haute cuisine.”

In this way, Pérez detailed that “among the protagonists of this edition are Alberto González Margallo, chef of the San Sebastián 57 restaurant; Pedro Nel, chef of the Etéreo restaurant; and Roberto Santana, from the Envínate winery,” and added that “in addition, we will have the special participation of Iciar Pérez and Juan Carlos Pérez Alcalde, chefs from the Moral restaurant and finalists for the prestigious 2025 Newcomer Chef Award.”
