Walking through the streets of Santa Cruz is to encounter a world of sensations. We are talking about a cosmopolitan and friendly city. Here, diversity is synonymous with encounters and emotions.

The role of a chef begins when the works of nature and artisans end. It consists in making very beautiful what is already very good.

Santa Cruz de Tenerife is bustling with kitchens that have a lot of heart. For this reason, we have put together a rich and varied sample, composed of different protagonists of the culinary scene of the capital. Chefs, entrepreneurs, businessmen and women, professionals who undertake and work every day to make the gastronomic offer of the capital unique, special and different, become our true ambassadors.

It is the restaurateurs and their businesses that will bring experience, emotion and personality to Santa Cruz with their testimony.

And those who will promote the destination through a personal vision and from the conception and particularities of their establishments.

The Degusta Santa Cruz initiative began with an open call to all catering establishments in the municipality. Among all those registered, we begin by highlighting those who hold culinary awards and mentions that elevate their category to excellence and have brought to the city a gastronomic offer based on quality and good work inside and outside the kitchen. We are talking about:

  • KAZÁN A restaurant for lovers of oriental flavors, delicate and surprising. Classic Japanese cuisine, with local details. Kazan, with one Michelin star and two Repsol suns, offers a cuisine that pays tribute to fresh produce.
  • LA POSADA DEL PEZ, in the coastal town of San Andrés, offers an updated traditional cuisine specialized in seafood. With a mention in the Michelin Guide and a Repsol sun.
  • SOLANA RESTAURANT, current Canarian cuisine, with an interesting section of rice dishes by the Canarian chef Nacho Solana, who has managed to bring his proposals to the Michelin and Repsol guide.
  • AMOR DE MIS AMORES, cuisine with a Canarian base and Peruvian influence by Armando Saldanha, that surprises and captivates. Awarded with a Repsol sun.
  • SAINT SEBASTIAN 57Recently awarded as “Best Restaurant” in the V Mahou Gastronomy Awards – La Opinión – La Provincia, this gastronomic space has a sun of the Repsol Guide that distinguishes it for its quality and excellence, it is a perfect place to taste the best of Santa Cruz.

Always open to new experiences, new culinary proposals coexist with the traditional gastronomic establishments. This city has a special energy and many flavors to know and taste.
