The Colón Rambla Hotel will host the ‘GastroHotel Weeks’ initiative starting this Saturday.

After a week at the Guannabí restaurant, this initiative moves to the Jarana restaurant at the Colón Rambla hotel, where it will remain until November 18.

The initiative ‘GastroHotel Weeks’, promoted by the City Council of Santa Cruz, through the Development Society, will continue from this Saturday, November 11 at the Jarana restaurant, located in the Hotel Colón Rambla. This has been communicated by the CEO of the capital entity, Carmen Pérez, who explained that “on this occasion the gastronomic proposal is designed by the prestigious chef Pedro Nel, along with the catering team of the establishment, and will consist of sweet potato ravioli and braised rabbit with Anaga cream cheese and banana chips”.

At this sense, Perez also explained that “this proposal can be tasted until November 18, from 13:00 to 16:00 hours and 19:00 to 22:30 hours, will be priced at 15.90 euros, and it is advisable to book through WhatsApp 640 790 806” and added that “on the other hand, this Saturday concludes the session being held at the restaurant Guannabí, located on the street Antonio Domínguez Alfonso, with the proposal devised by Diana Marcelino, which consists of a fish from the fish market grilled in banana leaves, sweet potato and limpets, and have already tasted about fifty people.”

Carmen Perez recalled that “the initiative ‘GastroHotel Weeks’, which has already visited eight catering establishments of eight hotels in the capital and will tour a total of ten, aims to promote the cuisine of the hotel establishments and will continue until the end of November” and added that “it consists of offering a menu, dish or tapa devised by the resident chef of the hotel with a chef of regional prestige, for a week, at an affordable price and that have been prepared with products of Anaga, kilometer 0 or Canary Islands products, so it is a very new initiative”.

“In this action, which is configured as a strategy to promote hotel gastronomy, the Hotel Iberostar Heritage Grand Mencey, Silken Atlántida, AC Tenerife, NH Tenerife, Hotel Escuela Santa Cruz, Occidental Contemporáneo, Taburiente, Hotel Adonis, Hotel Colón Rambla and the Urban Anaga are taking part” explained Pérez, who added that “the proposals are designed by 10 chefs with Michelin Stars or Repsol Suns, including Erlantz Gorostiza, Seve Díaz, Omar Bedia, Víctor Suárez, Víctor Planas, Adrián Bosh, Alberto González Margallo, Diana Marcelino, Pedro Nel and Gonzalo Tamames”.

GastroHotel Weeks’ will celebrate its last edition in the Kiki restaurant, located in the Hotel Urban Anaga, from November 18 to 25, with the participation of the prestigious chef Gonzalo Tamames.
