Ganadores ruta de la tapa de la huerta

Il Pizzo, D’Panas Coffee Bar and Ayumana Real Food win the “Ruta de la Tapa de la Huerta”.

The webapp registered more than 14,600 visits and almost 1,000 votes for the different gastronomic proposals of the almost 60 participating establishments.

The Ruta de la Tapa de la Huerta, in which almost 60 establishments of Santa Cruz participated, already has winners. This was announced by the CEO of the Development Society, Carmen Pérez, who explained that “the first place went to Il Pizzo with the tapa ‘Mini Pinsa de berenjena’, the second was for D’Panas Coffee Bar with the tapa ‘Vegetables in tempura’, and the third place was Ayumana Real Food with the tapa ‘Mini basket of vegan ceviche’, and that in addition to diploma, they will be promoted in social networks of the Product Club Degusta Santa Cruz Anaga Smart Destination”.

In this sense, Perez noted that “for more than two weeks, neighbors, neighbors and tourists had the opportunity to take a culinary tour throughout the city, through the tapas made with ingredients of local origin and / or the islands, which merged with the creativity of each establishment and that has been a success” and added that “we are very satisfied with this edition, in fact, the webapp recorded more than 14.600 visits, more than 2,600 unique users were counted and almost 1,000 votes were counted to determine the winning gastronomic proposals of this edition”.

“This edition was focused on elaborations with vegetable products, vegetables and / or fruit in particular, from the Anaga Massif, and consisting of tapa and drink for 4 euros” said Perez, who added that “this time has also been awarded to three users who registered their votes through the webapp, and will receive a voucher worth 50 euros to enjoy in any of the gastronomic establishments registered in the route”.

Similarly, the CEO of the Development Company, Carmen Perez, recalled that “the catering sector accounts for almost 10% of the economy of Santa Cruz, is one of the most dynamic sectors of the capital and is a benchmark in terms of quality values it represents” and added that “according to our data, today Santa Cruz has 1.193 catering establishments, so it is a pillar of the economy of Santa Cruz and from the City Council we also want to help revitalize it, to generate economy, hence, we celebrate this type of initiatives”.

The “Ruta de la Tapa de la Huerta” is part of the program of activities promoted by the City Council of Santa Cruz in the framework of the Product Club “Degusta Santa Cruz Anaga Smart Destination”, specifically, in the Action Line 10 Anaga Smart Destination of the Strategy for Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development “Anaga in the heart – Santa Cruz de Tenerife”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), under the Pluriregional Operational Program of Spain (POPE) 2014 – 2020, and by the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
