The Ruta de la Tapa “Kilómetro 0” begins with more than 70 participants.

This gastronomic route, which can be enjoyed until July 30, includes tapas and drinks for 4 euros and whose details can be found on the website degustalatapasantacruz.com .

The Ruta de la Tapa “Kilómetro 0”, organized by the City Council of Santa Cruz, starts in the capital of Tenerife with 74 participating establishments. This was announced by the CEO of the Development Company, Carmen Perez, who explained that “this route will be operational until Sunday July 30 and whose details can be found on the webapp hosted in degustalatapasantacruz.com“.

In this way, Carmen Pérez pointed out that “the restaurant sector is one of the main economic engines of the municipality and with initiatives like this we intend to boost consumption while we promote and value the local product, not only among the public of Santa Cruz but also among the thousands of visitors who come daily to Santa Cruz” and added that “this is the first of four gastronomic routes to be held this year in the municipality and is part of the strategy ‘Degusta Santa Cruz Anaga Smart Destination’ that is being promoted by the City Council of Santa Cruz”.

“Among the participating catering establishments are locals located in areas such as Anaga, Rambla de Santa Cruz, La Salle or El Toscal and among which stand out Herradura, Barra Santa, El Picú Restaurante, Bar Barbastro, El Albergue, La Casita, Restaurante Krua Thai, Los Paragüitas, Dos Grados Centígrados, Dulce de Flores, Tronix, Koi Restaurante and Qjaleo19” said Pérez, who thanked the involvement shown by the 74 participating establishments.

In this sense, among the wide variety of tapas that we will find in this route, some gastronomic proposals stand out such as Mio Gelato, which will offer the sanguchito de nata, caramelized fig and gofio, which is composed of chocolate cookies filled with caramelized fig ice cream, napeadas with gofio, or El Albergue, which will offer goat meat croquettes with chipotle mayonnaise with palm honey and onion confit crown.

The “Kilometer 0” Tapas Route is included in Action Line 10 Anaga Smart Destination of the Sustainable and Integrated Urban Development Strategy “Anaga in the heart – Santa Cruz de Tenerife”, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), within the framework of the Pluri-regional Operational Program of Spain (POPE) 2014 – 2020, and by the City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
