Nightlife in the city is concentrated in the downtown area, offering the advantage of being able to go from one lively area to another on foot or in short trips in vehicles. Almost all the hotels, if not all, are on the perimeter, and some of them have even become a target for night owls since rooftop terraces became fashionable. One example is the Urban Hotel, on Imeldo Serís Street. Nearby, another hotel has its own trendy rooftop, the NH Tenerife and its Azotea 31. In both cases we are talking about places to end the night, but where do we start it?
Let’s look at the different options: one can go to the always pleasant street of La Noria, central, pedestrian, comfortable place to go with children. There is a wide range of dining options here. Spanish, Canarian, modern, fusion cuisine… And also places where you can have dinner and a drink, and even end up dancing in the same space, such as Bulán.
A few meters away from La Noria street is the
MUNA
where it is not uncommon to find festivals and concerts in its courtyards. Do not miss to see if we coincide with any of their always attractive proposals.
Another idea to start with: the no less lively Clavel street, which has gained popularity in recent years, stands out for its atmosphere at nightfall. Here’s an idea: La Hierbita restaurant. And very close by, in Imeldo Serís -almost in front of the already mentioned Urban- there are several restaurants where to have lunch or dinner before starting a night of fun, such as the Bodeguita Canaria or the Soul & Gastro Wine Bar.
From there you have to walk a short distance and through streets where cars do not circulate to reach the Plaza de España. Around the fountain and in the surrounding streets, many of its restaurants, bars and breweries end up getting lively at night playing dance music.
We finish this nocturnal review in the Avenida de Anaga, a classic that is constantly renewed. In front of the cruise ships and ferries, we will again find several options for dining, having a drink or dancing, such as Qjaleo19 or La Santa, among many others, as this avenue could take the title of the busiest nightlife street in Santa Cruz, where different generations meet to enjoy a good evening that we will see until what time it lasts.
