More than one hundred tour operators and agents attended this week at the <\/span>
\n Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds this week<\/span>
\n<\/a> thanks to the third edition of the Santa Cruz Tourism Networking. <\/span> We attended the III Tourism Networking held in the capital. The City Council of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, through the Development Society<\/a>, has once again organized a business meeting on tourism marketing, which was attended by more than 150 agents from the island.<\/span><\/p>\n

The objective of this professional meeting is to continue to give visibility and improve the marketing of the Santa Cruz destination, highlighting its distinctive features, among which the city’s gastronomic resources undoubtedly stand out.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

The Mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Jos\u00e9 Manuel Berm\u00fadez, who was in charge of opening this III Edition, spoke of the new ideas and projects that bring “fresh air” to the city and detailed the initiatives being developed by the Corporation to position the municipality “as the new face that tourism in Tenerife needs”.<\/span><\/p>\n

The initiative Degusta Santa Cruz<\/a> was presented and represented by eight chefs responsible for catering establishments in the municipality. They were the ones who explained first-hand the objectives of this project, which has been underway since September. <\/span><\/p>\n

Degusta Santa Cruz is conceived for the dynamization and promotion of the gastronomic culture of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.<\/span><\/i><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Afterwards, all the attendees were able to enjoy a showcooking offered by the chefs.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the end of the meeting, attendees had the opportunity to take a tour of Santa Cruz aboard the tourist train.<\/span><\/p>\n
